used LED illumination systems that achieved fantastic

lighting effects, not only for the eye but also for the mood

and the mind.

LuxuRy AND EFFiCiENCy iN COMMERCiAL OFFiCES

unlike the audio studio, this commercial ofice

building (Image 3) is located in one of the most luxurious

streets in amman. The project had its own challenge in

designing its long unattractive entrance. The designer used

both black and silver colors as dominant and redesigned

this space by reducing its length by using adding curved

elements that gave the illusion of being shorter and by

using the blue LED lights on different heights. These

created a luxurious inviting entrance that was an eye

catching to people passing by.

The choice of LED lighting was made due to the fact

that it is the most eficient way of illumination, with an

estimated energy eficiency of 80%-90% when compared

to traditional lighting. also, with LED lights it is possible

to make signiicant energy savings also when it comes to

maintenance and replacement due to the long operational

life times of LED lighting.
