The use of LED lighting was based on its durability that

can survive the roughest conditions. Because LED lights are

resilient to shock and vibrations, they make great outdoor

lighting systems for rough conditions and exposure to weather

being cold or hot, rain or even external damage, and trafic

related public exposure as in this project.

WARMTH AND COMFORT TO PASSENGERS

The application of LEDs in this project enriched the

designing experience tremendously. This vIP private jets lounge

was designed to provide a luxurious feel to the users. The earth

colours used give warmth and comfortable sense that was

enhanced by the use of LED light. The LED colour used, which

is light yellow, enhanced this lavish experience.

The choice of using the LED lights was based on its size

and efficiency. LEDs measure from 3 to 8 mm long and can be

used singly or as part of an array. The small size and low proile

of LEDs allow them to be used in spaces that are too small for

other light bulbs, which was the case in this project. In addition,

because LEDs give off light in a speciic direction, they are

more efficient in application than incandescent and luorescent 4

bulbs, which waste energy by emitting light in all directions.
